Remembering Patricia A Turbett: A Life Filled with Love and Joy

It is with heavy hearts that we share the obituary of Patricia “Patze” Turbett, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. On July 10, 2017, at her home in North Wildwood, New Jersey, Patze peacefully passed away at the age of 79, surrounded by the love of her devoted husband and children.

Patze dedicated over 30 years of her life as a Registered Nurse at Cape Regional Medical Center, where she selflessly cared for countless patients. Her passion for nursing extended beyond the hospital walls, as she volunteered endless hours in the community, utilizing her nursing skills to help others at Hospice of South Jersey, the Coast Guard, and Catholic Community. Patze’s commitment to healing and serving others made a lasting impact on the lives she touched.

A Woman of Many Passions

While Patze’s professional life was filled with purpose, her personal life was a colorful tapestry of joy and zest. She embraced every moment and cherished her family, exercise, travels, reading, gardening, theater, and her beloved Philadelphia Eagles. As a passionate season ticket holder for over 40 years, she cheered on her team with unbridled enthusiasm, embodying the true spirit of a dedicated fan.

A Heart Overflowing with Love

For 64 years, Patze shared her life with her loving husband, Bill, who was the love of her life. Together, they raised a beautiful family and filled their home with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Patze’s adoring children, Renee, Billy (Cricket), Todd (Terry), Jennifer (Mark), and her precious grandchildren, Liam, Rebekah, Lizzie, Tyler, Natalie, Marley, Patrick, and Rileigh, were her greatest treasures. She showered them with boundless affection, leaving them with a legacy of compassion, gratitude, and a positive outlook on life.

Honoring Patze’s Life

Patze’s impact on the world will forever be remembered. In the fall of 2017, a Celebration of her Life will take place at one of her favorite places, The Sea Wall in North Wildwood, New Jersey. This gathering will be a testament to her love of life, as family and friends come together to reminisce and honor her memory.

Keeping Her Spirit Alive

In memory of Patze, donations can be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice or the North Wildwood Ambulance/Fire Department – FMBA of NJ Local 56. These organizations were close to her heart, and contributions made in her name will continue her legacy of helping others.
