If you are an active member of your local community, attend or are involved in planning events related to environmental conservation and tree planting, and enjoy engaging with the public, then this role is perfect for you. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about our work and eager to share our resources with others.


As a community outreach volunteer, you will have a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the success of our organization. These include:

  • Receiving and storing informational materials provided by Tips Tree Planting.
  • Familiarizing yourself with Tips Tree Planting and staying up to date on our current initiatives.
  • Completing a brief online training or handbook to enhance your knowledge and expertise.
  • Tabling at events in your local area where Tips Tree Planting information has been requested.
  • Actively seeking out and participating in events where our materials would be appreciated.
  • Assisting with the logistics of preparing for tabling events, such as handling paperwork.

Time Commitment

Community outreach opportunities are primarily based on requests we receive from organizations and events in your area. When a request aligns with your location, it will be posted as an opportunity on our state-specific community outreach volunteer scheduling calendar. We strive to provide advanced notice for these events, and we kindly request that volunteers make an effort to participate in local requests. Tabling opportunities can range from two to eight hours and may take place on any day or evening. Additionally, volunteers may be required to complete a brief online training session to ensure they are well-prepared for their role.
