Growing Up WILD: Exploring Nature with Young Minds

Nature is a playground for young minds, and our Growing Up WILD program is here to celebrate that. This award-winning early childhood education program is perfect for learners aged 3 to 7, as well as other sensory-focused individuals. With 27 field-tested, hands-on, nature-based thematic units and over 400 experiences, children will be introduced to wildlife and the world around them.

During our 3-4 hour workshop, you will discover the Growing Up WILD: Exploring Nature with Young Children activity guide. We will highlight developmentally-appropriate practices and emphasize the importance of nature play and discovery in early childhood. Project WILD: Igniting a Passion for Wildlife Conservation

Do you have a passion for wildlife conservation? Our Project WILD program is the perfect platform to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment when it comes to wildlife and the environment. Designed for K-12 educators and their students, this program aims to inspire informed decision-making, responsible behavior, and constructive actions.

The 4th Edition of our Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide features 81 lessons that include outdoor components, activity extensions, and career connections. These lessons align with national education standards and have been carefully developed, reviewed, tested, and vetted by scientists and educators.

Project Learning Tree: Building a Connection with Trees and Forests

Trees and forests play a vital role in our ecosystem, and with our Project Learning Tree (PLT) program, you can learn how to build connections and increase students’ understanding of the environment. This program offers a variety of resources through in-person and online training opportunities.

Our PLT K-8 workshop is a 6-hour exploration of the Pre K-8 Environmental Activity Guide. During this workshop, you will discover integrated teaching methods and strategies that will enhance your environmental education curriculum. For educators and care providers of children aged 3 to 6, we offer the PLT EC workshop, a 3-hour program that focuses on the Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood education guide. Discover ways to facilitate young learners’ abilities to explore, discover, and communicate in expressive ways through outdoor exploration and play.
